Victorian State Government and Canopy Growth sign Memorandum of Understanding
The MOU that was just signed by Canopy Growth and the Victorian State Government is a collaboration to advance the research and technical capabilities of medical cannabis in Australia. Agriculture Victoria is a global leader in bioscience research capabilities and Canopy Growth is the biggest cannabis company in the world. Through their research together, they will escalate innovation as well as make the emerging medical marijuana market in Australia more accessible to patients.
Aurora to be Italian Government’s Supplier
A rise in demand has prompted Italy to hold their first-ever public medical cannabis tender. The exclusive winner of this tender is Aurora Cannabis. Through the ministry of defense, Aurora and its subsidiary in Germany, Pedanios GmBH, will supply Italy’s medical cannabis market.
Organigram will Supply Cannabis to Prince Edward Island’s Recreational Market
Organigram entered into an agreement with the Government of Prince Edward Island which states that they will supply them with at least one million grams of cannabis every year. Organigram is one of three licensed producers chosen to supply the Island. Both parties are pleased to have finalized the agreement and are committed to a safe adult-use recreational market.
